WATCH: President Obama delivers remarks on Fort Hood shooting
(Washington, DC) -- President Obama says his administration will get to the bottom of the deadly mass shooting at Fort Hood in Texas. In remarks in Chicago, the President added that his national security team is in close touch with the Department of Justice and with authorities on the ground in Texas. Obama also said this incident reopened the pain of what took place at Fort Hood in November of 2009. He emphasized that his thoughts and prayers are with the entire community.
The President says he is heartbroken that something like this happened again.
