WATCH: Miley Cyrus goes to 'prom' during concert
Last month, Arizona teen Matt Peterson invited Miley Cyrus to his prom with a video that went viral and got the singer’s attention.
On Thursday, the pop star brought Peterson up on stage for a little personal attention during her Phoenix concert.
A shirtless Peterson presented Cyrus with a corsage, and then she sang “Adore You” to him while putting her hands all over his body in front of thousands of screaming people.
Standard prom stuff.
At one point, Peterson got down on one knee, at which point Cyrus made a joke about her failed engagement to Liam Hemsworth.
“I was in this position once before, and it didn’t work out too well for me the last time a guy got on one knee,” she announced. “Hopefully, this will be better.”
