WATCH: Ed Sheeran debuts new song 'Don't' on 'SNL'
Ed Sheeran is going "live from New York" to debut new music from his forthcoming sophomore album. He premiered the song "Don't" on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.
It was the British singer-songwriter's first time on the "SNL" stage, where he also performed his recently released single "SING." He had at least one good friend at the show with him -- country star and "Red" touring partner Taylor Swift, who made a short cameo during host Seth Rogen's opening monologue.
Ed took the stage with a full band and backup singers, a new twist to his usual acoustic set. The singer spoke about the track "Don't" during a recent interview with Rolling Stone, saying it was about a fellow musician he used to date who ended up cheating on him. .
The new album, Multiply is set to drop on June 23rd.
