George Strait has staying power. He won the Academy of Country Music entertainer of the year last night, 25 years after he won it for the first time. Miranda Lambert won female vocalist of the year for the fifth straight time. Jason Aldean won male vocalist.

During his opening monologue, Blake Shelton's first joke was aimed at the non live singing Britney Spears, with no regard for sister Jamie Lynn who was in the audience just a few feet away....ehh...it was all in good fun!
He and co host Luke Bryan were pretty hilarious and took more cheap shots at each other than anyone else!
