PHOTO: Prince's Junior High Basketball Photo Is The Best Throwback Ever
Before Prince became "The Purple One," he played middle school basketball -- afro and all. Which brings us to the best throwback photo EVER. Minneapolis Star Tribune reporter Libor Jany tweeted a photo of teenage prince, clad in his Bryant Junior High basketball uniform!
The photo is from a Bryant Junior High yearbook, and shows Prince down on one knee (you know, the standard team yearbook pose), along with the rest of his basketball buddies.

Along with the photo, Jany also tweeted an excerpt describing Prince's b-ball skills and his time on the team. The excerpt says:
"Prince was an excellent player," basketball coach Richard Robinson told the Star Tribune. But apparently, Prince wasn't too pleased being the sixth or seventh man, and wanted to be on the starting lineup: "He was unhappy and he expressed that many, many times."
