Kendall and Kylie Jenner cover the March issue of Marie Claire Mexico, opening up to the magazine about their careers, the paparazzi and reality TV.
Kendall, who recently walked the runway in Fashion Week events in New York and London, says that being a model is a dream come true.
The teenager shares, “I always enjoyed watching and looking at high fashion models and supermodels. I always wanted to be them. Even as a kid, I remember always looking at my mom’s magazines. I would look up to them and I thought they were so beautiful and they seemed very elegant and cool. It’s just something I really wanted to be.”
Kendall says she’s dying to model for Burberry and Chanel, and adds, “Everybody tells me I should do Ralph Lauren.”
Meanwhile, Kylie tells the mag she wants to get into acting and fashion design.
Kylie reveals, “Right now I love designing and I want to pursue that career once I turn 18, but acting is something I would regret not giving a chance when I’m older, so I would love to try it and see if I like it.”
The girls also open up to the magazine about being good influences on their fans, with Kylie saying, “I think we definitely try to set the best example we can. Sometimes we have to take a step back and realize that with the opportunities we have, we also have a lot of power to change things.”
As for the constant paparazzi presence in their lives, Kendall offers, “We keep ourselves surrounded with friends and try to have a normal life, but every time we go out of the house we’re followed by paparazzi, so it’s not completely normal.”
