The new 1 World Trade Center is 1776 ft tall and, even though it’s not yet open to the public, it didn’t take long before someone was crazy enough try to climb to the top.
New Jersey teenager Justin Casquejo snuck to the top of the 1 World Trade Center Sunday around 4am.
He made is past at least 4 layers of security, a sleeping watch guard, and an elevator operator.
A long way from home.

According to a the New York Post the teen, “crawled through a hole in the fence, took the elevator to the 88th floor, and then took the stairs to the 104th floor before slipping onto the roof.”
Casquejo seems to be skilled at parkour, which would explain how he got to the top.
He was charged with misdemeanor trespassing and could face up to 3 months in jail!
As for any selfies, the authorities seized his phone - so we may never get to see them.
Womp.
