Miley Cyrus cancels concert in Charlotte last minute

Miley Cyrus has reportedly fallen ill. The pop star canceled her Monday night concert in Charlotte, North Carolina but is expected to return to the stage Tuesday night in Raleigh.

Sources tell E! News the singer caught the flu and was having "throat and sinus" issues that prevented her from taking the stage. Miley tweeted the words "excruciating pain" on Monday night.

 

The cancellation also follows the death of her dog Floyd, which the 21-year-old has been taking hard.

Miley's "Bangerz" tour is scheduled to hit Washington DC and Auburn Hills later this week as well.
