Maroon 5 Makes 5-Year-Old Kidney Cancer Patient's Dreams Come True
Maroon 5 made a little girl's dreams come true when they hung out with her back stage before their concert in Anaheim, California.
Five-year-old Esperanza (Espy for short) Duran was diagnosed with a rare type of kidney cancer on her fifth birthday. So Adam Levine and crew granted her wish to go to their concert, but she was really surprised when she got to meet the band before the show!
Espy's mother Gloria told ABC7 of the special moment:
"That smile on her face. That was worth everything in the world to me. I don't even have enough words to express what we're feeling right now."
A few photos and videos from the night were posted to Espy's Facebook page along with with captions like, "All these past 6 days just posting, tweeting and some was worth it to see this moment. And that smile I cut out when he told her she had a beautiful smile n eyes.They are literally the sweetest guys ever."
According to one of the pics, Espy showed the band a video she made for them, and they gave her a guitar pick and signed Maroon 5 photo.

And it looks like Maroon 5's music really has healing powers because Espy is now in remission from her cancer!
