Louisa Wendorff on Life After Taylor Swift Became 'Obsessed' With Her Cover
By Kathleen Perricone
When you’ve received Taylor Swift‘s stamp of approval, you know you’ve really made it.
That’s the case for Louisa Wendorff whose incredible mashup of “Blank Space” and “Style” (with her friend Devin Dawson) not only set the Internet afire last month, but also made Taylor “OBSESSED” (her own words).
OBSESSED.

“I was actually in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, trying to find something warm and my phone started buzzing like crazy,” the 20-year-old Belmont University student told On Air with Ryan Seacrest about the moment Taylor publicly took notice. “I thought it was broken, honestly. And then my friend Devin called me and he’s like, ‘Tell me you’ve seen it!’ And I had no idea, I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ He’s like, ‘Taylor Swift tweeted at you!’ And I went wild!”
And ever since, well, everything has changed.
“It started with views, then it turned into followers, and then it turned into articles, and then it turned into being contacted like crazy,” explained Louisa. “Actually, as of yesterday, I’m taking a semester off of school. Don’t really know how long that semester’s going to be. At this point, it’s just insane. My days are filled with co-writes, meetings, and interviews. I’m living my dream!”
