Justin Timberlake To Be Honored With Innovator Award At 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards

The iHeartRadio Music Awards will honor Justin Timberlake with its most prestigious award of the evening, the 2015 iHeartRadio Innovator Award, live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles Sunday, March 29th on NBC.

According to a press release, "Only a handful of musicians in history have transcended all artistic boundaries, whether through music collaborations, acting, comedy, variety, putting together one of the biggest albums in recent history or staging the biggest and most technically ambitious tour of the last 2 years. iHeartRadio will honor Grammy and Emmy award winning artist Justin Timberlake for his unparalleled position in the entertainment world and will pay tribute to his significant contributions to the music industry."

"Justin is one of the most dynamic artists of our lifetime, a visionary whose influence on pop culture starts with brilliant music and stretches well beyond,” said Tom Poleman, President of National Programming Platforms for iHeartMedia. “I’m amazed how he regularly breaks barriers that continue to shape and define music trends. We’re thrilled to recognize him amongst his peers — who also proudly call themselves his fans."

"From day one, Justin has been a step ahead; in fact, he refuses to play it safe," said John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises for iHeartMedia, Inc. "And even given all his success to date, I think he is only at the beginning of one of the great careers in entertainment."

"Justin is the World’s undisputed 360-degree entertainer. Put simply, he's 'The Man'. We are delighted to give him the honor he deserves,” Ian Stewart, President, Done + Dusted.

Oscar and Grammy award winning actor and musician Jamie Foxx will host the show, which will include a star-studded list of performers and appearances. Rihanna, Iggy Azalea, Sam Smith, Madonna, Jason Aldean, Jamie Foxx, Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Snoop Dogg, Nate Ruess, Alesso and Florida Georgia Line will all perform along with appearances from Taylor Swift and more to be announced.

The 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards air live Sunday, March 29th at 8pm ET/PT on NBC, and will be broadcast simultaneously on iHeartMedia stations nationwide and across the iHeartRadio digital music platform.
