Jared Leto wins Best Supporting Actor at Oscars
Dallas Buyers Club star and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman, Jared Leto, ended a long trail of winning with an Oscar. He took home the Best Supporting Actor trophy for his performance as an HIV-positive transgender woman.
During his acceptance speech, Leto dedicated the award to the 36 million people who have lost the battle with AIDS and anyone who has felt injustice because of who they are or who they love.
He also gave an emotional "thank you" to his date for the evening - his mom - for teaching him to dream. He added that he was thinking about all the dreamers around the world, especially in places like Ukraine and Venezuela.
