HBO GO Crashes During Finale Of "True Detective"

Fans of the HBO show "True Detective" who watch it online got an unwelcome surprise Sunday night.

So many people were logging in at the same time for the show's highly anticipated finale that HBO GO, the cable network's streaming service, simply crashed. HBO GO sent a tweet acknowledging the problem and suggested users try again soon.

While there were definitely unhappy "True Detective" fans, some joked about the situation on Twitter. Others simply went the old-fashioned route of watching the show's finale on television.
