"Harry Potter" Spinoff "Fantastic Beasts" Will Be A Trilogy
The next big screen visit to the wizarding world of Harry Potter will be three films long.
According to a "New York Times" profile on Warner Brothers CEO Kevin Tsujihara, the studio plans to make a trilogy of "megamovies" out of J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" spinoff "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

The films are based on the Hogwarts textbook of the same name, which Rowling wrote in addition to the seven "Harry Potter" novels.
The author credits Tsujihara for convincing her to return to the world of wizards and make something more of what she thought would just be "an interesting bit of memorabilia" for her kids.
