Now seriously, this is the type of news I want to read about. Lucas D’Onofrio and Tamara Bruzzo are highschool sweethearts. Life changed for his girlfriend when she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in February, and has since gone through six 96-hour chemotherapy sessions. After her final chemo session at Boca Raton Regional Hospital he decided to celebrate in a….BIG…way with the help of all the staff! He bent down on one knee and said “I wanted it to be a symbol of closing the chapter of cancer in her life and opening a new chapter with our lives together.” He continued… “I don't know what I would do without you. I knew we were meant to be since six years ago, and God gave us another chance,” Lucas told Tamara. “I wanted to ask: Will you marry me?” and of course…she said YES! #TOOCUTE
