Filthy Unmade Bed Sells for $4 Million
An artist named Tracey Emin sold her unkept bed for four million dollars.
You heard us right. The artist claims she spent four days lying in the bed "heartbroken and feeling terrible" in 1998, and decided to turn it in into a work of art by not touching it for 16 entire years. The work of art titled "My Bed" was shortlisted for a Turner Prize in 1999, and has been kept in its messy, liquor filled condition ever since.
There is no word about the person who bought the piece, but it will sure make for an interesting centerpiece in someone's home!
