Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers Rock Halftime Show (Video)
The Denver Broncos didn't make much of an impression at the Super Bowl _ but Bruno Mars sure did.
The singer was the youngest act to play the NFL title game _ and he more than lived up to expectations. His high-energy performance was one of the few highlights of a game that featured a lopsided score and a fairly boring set of ads.
He opened his set on the drum kit, pounding away as the show opened. He then took to the mic to perform a medley of his hits, ``Locked Out of Heaven,'' ``Treasure,'' ``Runaway Baby'' before sharing the stage with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, on their hit ``Give It Away.''
Mars then closed out the show with a spotlighted performance of ``Just The Way You Are.'' As Mars stood at midfield, just above the NFL logo, TV footage had his profile framed by a huge fireworks display.
