All boys aspire to one day grow out a massive beard like their fathers. We all remember the moment we first grew out our "luscious fur of honor" and the pride we felt of knowing that our path to "Manhood" had officially begun. Nowadays, beards are all the rage with men in our society. We all look forward to "No Shave November", or better known as Movember, were men have an excuse to go a month long without shaving and it is all for a good cause. Movember was created in efforts to "bring about change and give men the opportunity and confidence to learn and talk about their health and take action when needed." So it is only appropriate we pay homage to the awesomeness of beards than by taking a look back at all the American facial hair throughout history.
