100-year-old Woman Sees Ocean for First Time
Ruby Holt has spent the majority of her life (100 years) on a farm in in the middle of Tennessee. Her 101st birthday is coming and all she wanted was to see the beach for the first time.
Two employees at her assisted living center discovered that Ruby had never been to the beach so the applied for a grant through a charity organization called Wish of a Lifetime, which funded Ruby's entire trip to the Alabama coast on the Gulf of Mexico :) Beautiful story!
